Chris Villegas, former CEO, will transition to Senior Advisor and Board Member. Chris started his career in operations as a process engineer in 1996. He continued to work in a variety of engineering roles in the midstream space until his entrepreneurial spirit led him to found Heroes Energy Solutions, LLC in 2008. Through Heroes, he was able to provide consulting services to midstream operators as well as midstream equipment suppliers. This experience resulted in diversified knowledge in midstream unit operations design and modular fabrication. In 2013, in partnership with Allied Equipment, Inc. and Texstar Midstream, he was responsible for the installation of a 300 MMscfd processing complex which ultimately created momentum for a formal construction business which he co-founded in 2014 through AFS, Inc.  Chris will oversee the execution of key projects and manage strategic customer relationships in his new role with Reset. His expertise in gas treating, conditioning, and processing will help manage the successful execution of critical projects and commitments to customers.

Ben Ciotti, appointed as CEO, previously served as Vice President of Technology and Product Development. He brings 14 years of expertise in midstream and downstream energy, complemented by four years in energy transition and renewables. Starting at Reset as a process engineer, Ben transitioned into technical sales and, in 2018, excelled as VP of Engineering, overseeing drafting, engineering, execution, and quality assurance. Throughout his tenure, he has led approximately 70% of Reset Energy’s projects from inception to execution and has also driven strategy and development in carbon capture solutions. With a proven track record in business development, sales, and project management, Ben’s leadership will propel Reset Energy toward a future of innovation and sustained growth.

Steve Scribner, former VP of Business Development & COO, will transition to the role of Senior Advisor & Board Member, where he will focus on providing strategic guidance and insights into business and corporate development. With 37 years of experience in oil & gas and energy facility applications—including extensive sales and business development roles at SEC Energy Products, Edge Manufacturing, HY-BON/EDI, Valerus, and Hanover Compression—Steve will serve as a valuable sounding board for the executive team, offering his industry expertise to help strengthen our position in the industry.

Michael McCabe, named COO, will bring his 20+ years in the oil and gas industry and 11 years in the midstream gas plant equipment design, manufacturing, supply chain management, and operations to oversee Reset’s entire operations and manufacturing functions.  In his role as Director of Technical Services, Michael was the architect of Reset Energy’s procurement department, managing annual purchases and establishing a robust supply chain that consistently achieves near-perfect on-time delivery to customers. His expertise in materials scheduling and operational oversight has been instrumental in driving efficiency and reliability across the organization. Additionally, Michael spearheaded the company’s successful ISO 9001 certification, further solidifying Reset Energy’s commitment to quality and excellence. With his proven track record, Michael is poised to lead Reset Energy into its next chapter of innovation and growth.

Bolstering our momentum, we’ve welcomed three specialized engineers to enhance our capabilities in gas processing, specifically amine treating, TEG units, and stabilizers. We’re also thrilled to secure a major nitrogen rejection unit (NRU) contract and several other large amine and dehydration projects in the Permian Basin, reinforcing our leadership in delivering high-performance, sustainable solutions amid the region’s booming natural gas production.
